A few years ago we bought some Amate paintings from an Otomí Indian in Guadalajara, Mexico, and sold them at a school fayre and markets in Bristol. They were hugely popular so, we started importing other things too. Before we knew it we had opened a small shop in Clifton Village called Otomí - named after the indian tribe that gave us our first products. We haven't looked back since, now importing a large range of goods. As one half of our outfit is Mexican we have the perfect opportunity to source our goods easily and our hope is that we have recreated a little piece of Mexico in the UK.
